Illustration project.

Our current project is called "It's illustration dahling" and it's my favourite so far, we had to choose a Roald Dahl story and base our illustrations on it. At the end of this year we have to choose one area to specialize in for the second year and i'm just trying to decide between fine art and illustration at the moment? Fine art will be more interesting and more what I'd want to do but illustration would lead into getting a job easier, if anyone is actually reading this, got any suggestions?

So here's quite a bit of my work from this project :)

Architecture project.

At the beginning of this project we went to London to look at and photograph the modern architecture mostly in the financial district, we then took our pictures and turned them into illustrations and prints, which led up to making our 2 final pieces.
Monoprint of college architecture

Gold card plate and print of Westminster tube station.

Mixed media collage

Fashion project.

For this project we got given a garment to make and a recyclable item to make it out of. Mine were a skirt and a spoon.
Tonal drawing

5 minute life drawings
So, neither of those are fashion illustration, or at all fashion related, but my fashion illustrations weren't the best and i'd rather try some more before anyone saw them. :)

Tools project.

Yesterday I took pictures of some of my favourite pieces of my work, mostly from college.
Here they are...

These pieces are from the 2nd project of my 2 year BTEC Art & Design course.

Portraits.

I really like Richard Avedon's portraits and could maybe use these to paint, draw etc...
