2 photoshoots in 2 days.
This week two of my friends asked me to model for them for college/uni photography work.
The first was for my friend Emma doing AS photography at the same college as me, her project title was shine so she painted me and her boyfriend silver and sprayed glitter on us, put us in some old clothes and took some pictures in a setup in her house and more in a church graveyard with locals laughing and taking pictures of us!
Here are some of my favourite shots.
All taken by Emma MEAKIN :D
The second photoshoot I modelled for was for my friend Leanne King to do towards the first year of her photography degree, this was a 'hippie' themed shoot. We went to FCOT on Wednesday evening with almost half my wardrobe and one of her friends did my make-up while another helped with lighting etc.
I haven't seen any pictures from this yet so for now i'm gonna put up some pictures of my AMAZING make-up by Natalia that I took when I got home.
Once I get some of the pictures from the shoot I will post them. x

Preserving human bodies for art :\
Doing research for my college project and I come across The Body Worlds exhibition by Professor Gunther von Hagens, he ha preserved human bodies using plastination and then positioning the bodies. I think that's just a bit weird :s

Another project finished.
Today I put the finishing touches to my final board for the illustration project and handing in my coursework, fingers crossed for a distinction. :)
So here are some pictures of my final board, based on Cinderella from the book Revolting Rhymes by Roald Dahl.
Now we're starting a new graphics project based on the human life cycle, we have to choose part of it out of about 8 parts, like teenager and death, which I have chosen to research and then decide on one of these to continue the project with and eventually make a 6-sided leaflet based on it. I think I am going to choose death as my theme because I want to look at skulls and skeletons, maybe animals also. I would also like to look at what people think happens after death and create images based on this, like heaven, hell, reincarnation etc.
